You have to download each song separately, but it'll work for now!

HB Musical Songfest

Here's a neat little record from 1961 performed by the Jimmy Carroll Orchestra and the Golden Tones. In it, the established characters of Quick Draw McGraw, Huckleberry Hound, and Yogi Bear introduce songs sung by (or about) the lesser-known characters of Snuffles, Hokey Wolf and Ding-a-Ling, and Cindy Bear respectively. Once again we don't have the real voice artists (which in this case, would be almost all Daws Butler), but it's fun anyway. For some reason though, the lady doing Cindy's singing voice sounds kind of like Olive Oyl with a Southern accent! Anyway, hope you enjoy this!

Here's the track list:
  1. Quick Draw McGraw Presents Sniffles
  2. Huckleberry Hound Presents Hokey Wolf and Ding-a-Ling
  3. Yogi Bear Presents Cindy Bear

Happy (Late) Washington's Birthday from me and (the also late) Bob Hope!

(I was hoping to find a picture of Bob Hope from a skit dressed as George Washington, but I didn't have any luck!)

Well, here's yet another selection from the CD "Bob Hope - Thanks for the Holidays". In this one, he's telling jokes in honor of George Washington's birthday, which was on February 22nd. Sorry I was late getting it over here. Here it is now though. Hope you like it!

Happy Valentine's Day from Me and Bob Hope!

(I was going to try to find a picture of Cupid and put Bob Hope's face on it, but I didn't have time to do it.)

Here's another track from the CD "Bob Hope: Thanks for the Holidays". He talks about old maids, Jack Benny, Jane Russell, and lots more!

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody! I'll try to get another new album up here shortly.

Quick Draw McGraw and Huckleberry Hound

Here's an old one for you from 1959. It was actually mentioned on the back of the Huckleberry Hound album I posted a while back. Lots of fun stuff here (even if they don't use the original voices). The last few songs listed actually pertained to characters from the show "Ruff and Reddy" (the dog and cat pictured in the middle window of the stagecoach.) And any record that has the theme song for El Kabong has gotta be good!

  3. Super Snooper

  4. Blabber Mouse

  5. Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy

  6. Ooch, Ooch! Ouch!

McDonald's $1,000,000 Menu Song (with some bonus videos to boot!)

Here's another contribution from "Kids Music Fan from Boston"! This was a contest that McDonald's ran in 1988. If the crowd on the record sang all the words correctly, you won a million dollars! This wasn't a winning record, but I imagine those would be pretty hard to come by now. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it, and thanks again "KMFfB"!

Click here or here or here to download!

I forgot to put the graphic of the record only in the file, so if you want it, you can save the pic below:

Here's a cute video somebody put together for this song.

Also, as a special bonus, if you aren't familiar with the song "Life Is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me) (which was the direct inspiration for the Menu song), here's a couple of fun videos showing you what that song was all about (I couldn't decide which one I liked more, so I included both for your viewing pleasure)...

And the other one...

Come On and Zoom [LINK FIXED!]

How many of you remember "Zoom"? This show was known for its interactivity with its audience. In fact, many of the skits and craft projects were sent in by kids in hopes of seeing their ideas on TV. Zoom had a rotating cast, so I don't know if I remember everybody in this picture. I think the boy at the top left was Danny, and the chubby boy to the far right was Mike. The Asian girl in the next row was Bernadette (she of the magic twirling arms). I think David is next to her. I believe the black boy is Leon. The girl to his right is Maura, and Jay is on the bottom row in the middle. Not bad considering I probably haven't seen this show in over 20 years! Anyhow, if you watched the show very often, you'll know a lot of these songs, including the Fannee Doolee song and the Ubbi-Dubbi madrigal. You'll also remember the address to send your stuff to. (Zoom, Box 350, Boston Mass, OH-two-ONE-three-FOUR.) Hope this brings back some fun memories for you!
Here's the track list:
  1. Zoom - Theme
  2. Stay All Night
  3. Games
  4. The Lollipop Tree
  5. Witches Brew
  6. Michael Row the Boat Ashore
  7. I Believe in Music
  8. Twinkle (A Mad Tea Party)
  9. Piccolomini
  10. Ballin' the Jack
  11. Wishes
  12. Fannee Doolee
  13. Address Song - Send It to Zoom!
  14. Fannee Doolee - Answer
  15. Ubbi-Dubbi
  16. Zoom Close

Strawberry Shortcake's Country Jamboree

This one was requested by one of my readers a few months ago, and I just recently snagged a copy. This is a fun little story with some cute songs. I think the thing I like best though is the overly dramatic narrator that sounds like he's trying to be Jon Lovitz! Anyway, I'm happy I was finally able to get this one on here, and I hope whoever requested it didn't give up on me!
