Here's a neat little record from 1961 performed by the Jimmy Carroll Orchestra and the Golden Tones. In it, the established characters of Quick Draw McGraw, Huckleberry Hound, and Yogi Bear introduce songs sung by (or about) the lesser-known characters of Snuffles, Hokey Wolf and Ding-a-Ling, and Cindy Bear respectively. Once again we don't have the real voice artists (which in this case, would be almost all Daws Butler), but it's fun anyway. For some reason though, the lady doing Cindy's singing voice sounds kind of like Olive Oyl with a Southern accent! Anyway, hope you enjoy this!
Here's the track list:
- Quick Draw McGraw Presents Sniffles
- Huckleberry Hound Presents Hokey Wolf and Ding-a-Ling
- Yogi Bear Presents Cindy Bear
Love It! Do you happen to have the "Hey There! It's Yogi Bear" from the film 45 rpm lying around?? Also any Mickey Mouse Club albums??
ReplyDeleteThanks for this one. I've seen it on ebay, and I thought it was always too much to ask for a 7 inch record.
ReplyDeleteI have the "Hey There It's Yogi Bear" cartoon on vhs willyboy. One of these days I'm going to take all of those vids, and make sound files on my PC of them.
