This being Election Day in the US I had to throw one more political oriented album on here. This is Alison Arngrim (probably best known for playing Nellie Oleson on "Little House on the Prairie") portraying then First Daughter Amy Carter. It's pretty crazy, and I hope you like it, and don't forget to vote!!
Heeere's the track list:
- Amy's Answering Service
- Roots
- Y'all C'mon 'a My White House
- Amy Carter Superstar!
- Medi-Kids
- High Finance
- Pickin' an' Strummin'
- 18 1/2
- Mammy Knows Best
- Y'all C'mon 'a My White House II
- Dear Diary
- Cookies
- Birds & Bees
- Amy's Prayer

This is about as campy as it gets! Many thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is excellent. I just found your blog today, and was so happy that it returned many happy childhood memories. I was disappointed that you haven't found Buckman & Garcia's Pac Man Fever, though. Talk about a classic!
ReplyDeleteIs it Buckman or Buckner? I can't remember.
ReplyDeleteI found this LP in a very cool record shop 20 years ago, yet a rare moment of common sense kept me from buying it. I've regretted that decision ever since, although I doubt my remorse will continue after I listen to your share.
ReplyDeleteBig Thanks!

Here's the thing you didn't pick up on -- Alison's mother was Norma MacMillan, one of the voiceover talents on Vaughn Meader's gold record THE FIRST FAMILY satirical LP.
ReplyDeleteAnd Norma was my besy tpal Gumby's gal pal Goo, and Underdog's gal pal Sweet Polly.
ReplyDeleteThat actress looks geeky, and almo0st like a seventies Amanda Bynes.:)
Dedicated to the memory of the original 50s-60s Gumby
