Here's a record of games and dances for kids. I seem to remember having a pretty old 45 with this version of "Drop the Handkerchief" and "Button Button", so this could be another compilation of songs from various sources. Anyway, some neat stuff here, and I hope you like it!

Nice blog. As a child I had the "Theme From Star Wars" LP from Wonderland Records and the "Alley Cat" record was advertised on the back. I always wondered what it sounded like. Now I know. Thanks.

Wow. This takes me back. In '75, my third grade teacher had a copy of this LP and would play it in th afternoon as part of our music hour. I have found many versions of Alley Cat and even the original Robert Preston Chicken Fat, but I had pretty much given up on ever seeing this album again. Thanks so much for this.

I LOVED this record to death when I was little (and drove my cousins NUTS with it, because I'd act like a Drill Sergeant to get everyone to "Left to the Left and the Right to the Right"....
